Daniel Northen

Owner operator of Two Rock Land Management. Born and raised in Sebastopol, CA on his family’s organic apple ranch, Daniel’s passion and appreciation for agriculture and the land began at a young age. Daniel has over 20 years of hands on experience working with sheep and other livestock.

The herders

For years border collies have been breed for performance activities such as agility, obedience and herding. These two help control the movement of the herd or flock and are always eager to go to work.

The guardians

Livestock guardian dogs are full-time companions to the sheep. Their ability to protect the flock against predators is completely instinctual and learned at a young age. Despite their size they are gentle giants.
